Rules

School Rules-General

  • A students should carry their almanac to school every day with their photograph duly pasted and the identity information signed by the parents.
  • Students who come to school by private conveyance should arrive at school 5 minutes before the morning bell. Students are advised not to come to school in a self-driven vehicle. In case of mishap owing to rash or negligent driving, the school shall not be held responsible.
  • Students should maintain personal hygiene and come neatly dressed in school uniform. Students must carry their ID card.
  • Students are expected to respect school property and the property of others. No student should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done, even by accident, should be reported at once to the Class teacher or Principal. Any damage done will be made good by the one who causes it.
  • Students who bring any object to school which can cause harm or damage to school personnel or property will be subjected to strict disciplinary action as per the school rules.
  • Students are advised to keep their class rooms / school building/campus as neat as possible and make use of dustbins.
  • Students should take care of their belongings.
  • Leave absence record is to be maintained in the almanac and leave application is to be submitted to the class teacher on the same / next day.
  • Students should observe polite standards wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their behaviour.
  • Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets to school.
  • Bursting of crackers and splashing of colours is strictly forbidden.
  • Bullying in any form-direct, indirect, cyber bullying or using foul language are punishable offences and may even merit expulsion from school. It is expected that students behave in a manner which brings a good name to the school community.
  • The school reserves the right to suspend or to take strict disciplinary action against a student whose performance in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
  • Students found tampering with the school records e.g. marks allotted by teachers in tests/exams are liable to strict disciplinary action.
  • No student will be allowed to go home during school hours without the written permission of the Principal.
  • Students should not have a Facebook or other social networking account as this may be misused. Misuse of any application will lead to disciplinary action against the student.
  • All information related to scholastic and co-scholastic activities is available on the school website.

Visiting Time For Parents

The School would like parents to maintain a close rapport with the teachers teaching their wards in the school, Parent teacher meetings are organized for this reason every month with prior intimation. In case you need to meet any Teacher or Principal outside the PTM schedule, you are requested to take prior appointment.

Office Hours

Monday-Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Meeting time with the Principal: 11:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday (with prior appointment)

Absenteeism

  • Parents should intimate the school when the student is absent from school stating the reasons for absence through email / application.
  • Absenteeism from school may be allowed with permission from the concerned authority.
  • Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for six consecutive working days renders a student liable to having his/her name struck off the rolls without any notice. Re- admission may be granted after payment of a fresh admission fee, only at the discretion of the Principal.
  • All students are expected to attend school on the opening day after the vacations. It is compulsory for the students to complete 75% of the attendance in the year to make them eligible to sit for the final examination. It would be appreciated if students have an average of at least 90% attendance before the examination.

Withdrawals

  • One clear calendar month notice through an application or a month's fee in lieu of such notice must be given before a pupil can be withdrawn.
  • Those who leave the school in May, must, in all cases pay the fee for the month of June.
  • Transfer certificates are not issued until all dues of the school are settled

School Assemblies

Morning assemblies are an integral part of school curriculum, Class based, Theme based and House assemblies are organized on rotational basis.

House System

There are four Houses in the school. Every student is placed in one of these Houses. Each House is headed by House Captains. A member of the staff, assisted by several other teachers, acts as the House Master/ Mistress. Inter house contests in both scholastic and co scholastic areas are organized regularly to ensure great student participation and team work.

School Uniform

All students must come to school in prescribed school uniform (for summer and winter season) as per school norms.

School Transport

Students can avail the School Transport subject to the availability of seats. The routes of the school buses are drawn up and the parents should consult the School Transport Incharge for necessary details.

Bus Rules

  • The bus facility once opted for has to be continued throughout the year. The bus facility, in special cases, can be discontinued or changed with prior permission of the school authorities with the next quarterly payment.
  • All students using the school bus are expected to be at the bus stop at least five minutes before the arrival of the bus.
  • The bus will not wait for late comers.
  • Students should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives.
  • No student should come near the entry door of the bus until it has made a complete stop.
  • All students must occupy vacant seats immediately after boarding their buses. No student should travel standing on the foot-board.
  • The drivers are authorized to stop buses at the designated stops only, unless directed by the transport Incharge.
  • When the bus is moving, students must not move around in the bus nor must they expose their heads or arms outside the window.
  • Students will be held responsible for any damage to buses caused by them.
  • No student is allowed to eat in the bus.
  • Discarding of trash or food either inside or outside buses is not permitted.
  • All buses are equipped as per government guidelines.

School Facilities


Medical Room

Medical checkup of students is done and a record is maintained. If the doctor finds that a child needs special medical attention, parents are informed. Parents are requested not to send a sick child to school to attend classes or to appear for examinations as the child's health is of prime importance.

School Library

The School Library is open to all bonafide students of the school. All classes are provided with at least one library period per week. Books are issued for one week only for classes III onwards. Reference books, magazines and periodical publications are to be read in the library only. If the book is lost, the reader has to pay double the cost of the book or replace the book.

Library Rules

"Books are the best companions". The School has a resourceful library catering to the needs and happy reading of all kinds at each level. Students will be taught to make the best use of the library.



  • All the students of the school are members of the library.
  • Strict discipline and silence should be observed in library.
  • Library books should be looked after & deposited on the due date.
  • Marking, underlining, cutting and erasing or damaging pages of the books are strictly prohibited.
  • Books are issued only for 7 days. It can be reissued.
  • In case the book is lost, immediately the matter should be reported to the librarian and the instructions should be followed to cover the loss.
  • In case of loss of the original card, a duplicate library card will be issued after a payment of Rs. 50/-.
  • Library resources can only be availed during the school working days & working hours.

Audio Visual Education/Smart Classes

To keep pace with the changing scenario of education in the present virtual times, the school has smart classrooms furnished with LCD Projector and advanced software to facilitate teaching of various subjects.

Language Lab

The growing need to enhance communication skills is met with by the presence of highly sophisticated multi lingual lab.

Maths Lab

To enable the students to hone their mathematical skills, a sophisticated Maths lab has been established where students work out mathematical formulae and theorems.
